The ideal professional candidate will recruit high-potential digital media advertisers, show them the exceptional value in sponsoring our digital media properties, and close on sponsorship contracts that are beneficial to our sponsors and profitable for the company.
We seek someone that could communicate effectively with financial service providers and other entities that would benefit from reaching multinational executives and institutional investors with current or potential interests throughout The Americas and The Caribbean. This person would be able to effectively communicate our value proposition to financial industry service providers such as securities or commodities exchanges, law firms, advisors, fund raisers, investment bankers, software and financial technology providers, banks, insurers, etc. in order to win sponsorships and strategic advertising deals. This role also includes the key component of identifying emergent finance & accounting (FAO) outsourcing and shared services providers with the potential for expansion within the CALA region.

To expand and continue to establish the formal sales organization for the company, implementing defined methodology, processes, and metrics. To ensure that customers receive a level of support and service that exceeds their expectations, and to communicate effectively activities, successes, and obstacles to executive management.

Competencies

Experience and ability to sell to professional services organizations such as law firms, accounting firms, airlines, and hotel chains

Experience cold-calling on customers, relying on personal repor rather than brand recognition. Initially, the role will involve significant cold calling.

Past success building a book of business from scratch, surpassing quotas, and closing deals beyond the presentation process

Ability to present a compelling case to advertisers on why they should switch from traditional advertising channels to targeted digital media sponsorship

Experience selling in the BFSI sector (Banking, Financial services, Securities, Insurance) at the commercial and enterprise level

3 years experience selling advanced services to medium and large companies

Possessing adequate business stature and gravitas to approach and negotiate with enterprise executives on a peer / collegial basis

Experience and ability to create compelling proposals and marketing materials

Fluently bilingual: Able to communicate orally and in writing, at a professional level in both English & Spanish.
