We seek a highly motivated, bilingual person who can contact our subscribers and industry colleagues to arrange periodic appointments with our top-level management. These meetings may be editorial in nature, as we are news publishers, or with sponsors to discuss sponsorship and advertising renewal. We only deal with business and corporate clients, never consumers, families or the general public. Most calls are in Spanish, though we do need to contact English speaking executives from time to time.
We also organize events in Colombia, the US, and the Caribbean, so occasionally we will need to invite our subscribers and contacts to participate.
No sales are expected, though as a performance-driven organization, your compensation will be based in large part on legitimate appointments scheduled.
You must be comfortable speaking with top-level executives and business leaders in both Latin America, the US and Canada. Responsibility, discretion, ethics and trustworthiness are essential for this position.
We once maintained traditional offices, but with the COVID pandemic, we moved to a fully remote workplace modality. Thus, you will be expected to work remotely with a secure, high speed internet connection, and a quiet environment. We provide all software, telephony, email, etc. But you are expected to have a functional, reliable computer and headset.
We are a pay for performance organization. there is a small base salary to help you with cash flow, but your compensation varies based on appointments set. Again, there is no sales, simply setting appointments with businesses in our database using email and phone. Compensation is $300 USD base pay (for full time) + $10 USD per successful appointment set. Our successful appointment setters arranging 20 appointments per week make just over $1,000 USD per month.
