Essential Job Functions: Processes a high volume of moderately complex inbound policy administration requests according to established production and quality guidelines. Performs work independently using a knowledge management system that provides instructions for processing and responding to requests. Recognizes process improvement opportunities and makes suggestions to increase operational efficacy Processes moderately complex inbound policy administration requests received through non-phone channels from internal and external customers. Uses knowledge and understanding of documented learning resources to provide written responses that anticipate and eliminate the need for further responses. Works in multiple systems to access information, process transactions, and document important notes in customer file. Reports systems or process issues to supervisor. Proactively identifies process improvement opportunties and makes suggestions to optimize efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs. Performs other duties as assigned. Grows knowledge through self-directed learning. Supports peers by sharing knowledge and helping them understand the knowledge management system. Assists with maintaining knowledge management system to ensure knowledge resources are current. Adheres to assigned, tightly regulated schedule and follows procedures for requesting time off. Requirements Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience Requirements: Some experience in insurance or related field preferred.
