We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineers with 10-15 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry. You will be responsible for designing, installing, optimizing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems. As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee and provide technical support in complex projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Requirements Required experience Between 10-15 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control engineering in the oil and gas sector. Must Qualifications ∙Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. ∙Between 10-15 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control engineering in the oil and gas sector. ∙Strong experience with designing, installing, and commissioning control systems, SCADA, DCS, and PLC systems. ∙Solid knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (ISA, IEC, API). ∙Proven experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of instrumentation systems in high-pressure environments. ∙In-depth understanding of process control, automation, and instrumentation technologies. ∙Experience with process safety management (PSM), hazardous area classification, and electrical area classification. ∙Strong communication and team collaboration skills. ∙Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects. ∙Experience with field instrumentation, calibration, and troubleshooting. ∙Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions. Plus Qualifications ∙Chartered Engineer status (e.g., CEng or PE). ∙Experience with advanced control strategies, data analytics, and automation systems. ∙Proficiency with engineering software tools (AutoCAD, SPI, MATLAB, etc.). ∙Experience in the commissioning and start-up of oil and gas projects. ∙Knowledge of cyber security for industrial control systems (ICS). Responsabilities ∙Lead the design, specification, and installation of instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas projects, including upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities. ∙Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into overall plant design. ∙Develop and review documentation, such as instrument datasheets, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), and control strategies. ∙Provide technical evaluations and feasibility studies for the selection of instrumentation and control systems. ∙Provide troubleshooting and optimization support for existing systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation. ∙Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle. ∙Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical solutions are aligned with project goals. ∙Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing technical expertise and best practices. ∙Conduct site surveys and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting system upgrades when necessary.
