YOUR OPPORTUNITY This analyst will support the Finance Organization and Operations team, being responsible for the General Accounting and Financial Reporting processes for a group of legal entities, enabling the accurate and timely submission of financial information every period, through creation and review of daily cash activity, allocations, accruals, foreign exchange revaluation, internal controls, performing and reviewing reconciliation of several balance sheet accounts, period end close support, support process standardization projects, journal entries review, financial reporting master data maintenance, profit centres allocations, and any other General Accounting and Financial Reporting support. RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE Perform tasks in the General Accounting team at Bacardi Enterprises Services, supporting over 84 legal entities and our Corporate Headquarters operations. You will support daily and monthly accounting tasks, including: Coordinating the month-end closing process for assigned legal entities. Matching and reconciling bank transactions with our SAP system. Posting manual bank statements and confirming balances. Posting and reviewing of foreign exchange rate revaluation. Recording and reviewing journal entries for: Daily cash activity Accruals Reclassifications and amortizations Payroll and other financial operations Clearing of general ledger account. Value Added Tax (VAT) accounts netting and clearing. Performing and reviewing reconciliation of several type of accounts such as cash, prepaid, accruals, advances, equity, capital, suspense, retained earnings, receivables, and others. Perform carry forward process for leading ledger (LL) and non-leading ledger (NLL). Ensuring internal controls are followed and documented. Work closely with internal clients to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Help guide local markets to follow Bacardi’s procedures and policies. Consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements. Ensure all accounting practices follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Bacardi’s internal financial policies. SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY To be successful in this role, it’s helpful if you have: Some experience in accounting (around 2 years), ideally with exposure to SAP or similar platforms. A curious and analytical mindset, with the ability to manage tasks and time effectively. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly. A collaborative attitude and willingness to build positive relationships. Comfort working both independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of business practices and a professional approach to customer service. Openness to learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities as needed. Familiarity with MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience using Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, is a plus. A disciplined approach to meeting deadlines and following up on tasks. Strong English skills (written and spoken) – 85% minimum. Knowing a third language is a bonus. Bonus if you also bring: Previous work in a Shared Services environment . A degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
