What You'll Do Lead and manage a primary-grade homeroom with clarity, structure, and heart. Design hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that foster curiosity and active participation. Build a positive and inclusive classroom culture centered on student voice and agency. Collaborate closely with colleagues to co-create meaningful learning experiences. Maintain clear, ongoing communication with families. Required Qualifications 2 to 3 years of experience teaching at the primary level (this is essential). Full fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading). Spanish is a strong asset. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Valid teaching certification or license . Experience with progressive methodologies (e.g., Inquiry-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, IB). Strong classroom leadership and the ability to foster a joyful, engaging learning environment. Willingness to break away from traditional teaching models and grow in a creative, collaborative setting. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Education. Training in Readers & Writers Workshop . Apple Certified Educator. Experience with co-teaching or the Reggio Emilia approach. Background in alternative or progressive education.
